Our Vision & Misson
Our Vision
We envision a future where inclusive and accessible education is the standard, not the exception. A future where every child and young person with SEND is supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally, and to move into adulthood with confidence, purpose and belonging.
Our Mission
SENAID exists to improve the educational journeys of children and young people with SEND by bridging the gap between families, schools and statutory systems.
We provide legally informed advocacy, practical guidance and emotional wellbeing support, helping families navigate complex processes with clarity, confidence and dignity. Through this work, we aim not only to improve individual outcomes, but to drive fairer and more responsive systems.

About SENAID
SENAID is a specialist charity supporting children and young people with SEND and their families across the West Midlands.
We work with families who are navigating complex education systems, experiencing sustained stress, or struggling to secure appropriate support for their child. Many come to us after months or years of trying to navigate SEN Support, EHCP processes, exclusions or school refusal without clear guidance or consistent help.
Our work combines legally informed SEND advocacy with early emotional wellbeing support, recognising that families cannot advocate effectively when they are exhausted or isolated. We focus on early intervention, prevention and needs-led solutions to reduce escalation into crisis wherever possible.
Our Story.
What Makes SENAID Different?
SENAID is not a general advice service. We are a specialist organisation with a clear focus on SEND, education systems and family wellbeing.
We work closely with schools, Early Help teams, health professionals and community partners, while remaining independent and firmly family-centred.
